VANS TRIPLE CROWN OF SURFING

The Vans Triple Crown of Surfing is the world's premier series of professional surfing events and annually crowns the world champions of the sport. Staged on Oahu's North Shore, the series features 3 events for men and women: Haleiwa November 12-23; Sunset Beach November 24-December 6; and the Banzai Pipeline December 8-20. alternativehawaii.com. Competition for each individual event takes place on the four biggest days of surf within the allotted period. This series features the world's top men and women surfers in waves of up to 30 feet.

The Davis Levin 1st Amendment Conference explores the government's unquenchable desire for secrecy vs. the public's constitutional right to know. In 1971, Ellsberg leaked a copy of the Pentagon's secret history of the Vietnam War to the New York Times. These one-of-a-kind performances will support Sounding Joy's mission to promote music therapy in Hawaii, enhancing public awareness of its benefits, increasing its accessibility, and advancing music therapy research. Musician Donna Stoering has been giving concerts since the age of five. A protégé of thelate Sir Georg Solti, she is a renowned pianist and singer, a Grammy Award nominee, Artistic Ambassador of the USA and Great Britain, Marshall Scholar, Artist in Residence to Oxford University, host and presenter of numerous television programs about music on the national networks of various countries, youngest-ever judge of international music competitions in Russia, Italy, Canada, and the UK, and the creator/producer of music programs now shown on the BBC and other networks. She is also the founder of Listen for Life, a global family of music listeners and performers who are working together to restore music as a unifying force and channel of communication worldwide. The event will be open to the public with a suggested donation of $10.

PUBLIC TOURS - JAMES CAMPBELL NATIONAL WILDLIFE REFUGE
