This prestigious 32-mile paddleboard race from the island of Molokai to the island of Oahu attracts the world's premier stand-up and traditional paddleboarders from around the globe. alternativehawaii.com. It is the unofficial world championship of paddleboarding. Join local families and international supporters at the finish line for a colorful welcoming home of competitors.

NATURE CONSERVANCY OF HAWAII HIKES
Date: Monthly
Place: Kamakou and Moomomi Preserves
Nature Conservancy staff and volunteers lead a monthly hike into the lush rainforest of the Kamakou
Preserve and into the Moomomi Preserve, a last stronghold of a major Hawaiian coastal ecosystem
that contains numerous archaeological sites. Hike leaders will meet you at the Molokai airport
at 8:30 am, serve as interpretive guides throughout the hike, and return you to the airport by
3:30 pm. Reservations and a deposit are required. Space is limited and the hikes are often booked
