All are welcome to this community SON RISE SERVICE at the Waimea Nature Park located to the rear of the Canada France Telescope Office building in Waimea. Parking is permitted in the Canada France parking lot. Seating will be on a grassy slope in the amphitheater-like setting fronting the stream. Please bring something to sit on that will keep you warm as you enjoy the music and presentation while we celebrate the resurrection together.

FREE FILM SHOWING ''MOZART AND THE DOLOMITES''

Filmed and produced by Jean-Charles Cuillandre, the filmmaker behind ''Hawaiian Starlight'', this scenic film composed of time accelerated sequences reveals the beauty of the majestic Dolomites Mountains (Italy) through the passing of time. alternativehawaii.com. Filmed in more than a hundred different locations over five years, the footage scores visually the entire performance of Mozart's Requiem. alternativehawaii.com. This powerful performance of the Requiem was recorded in Prague exclusively for the film. There are no dialogues in the film, only Mozart's beautiful music.

Kona Festivale Chorale presents our spring "Pops" Concert featuring musical theater vignettes, and favorite Hapa Haole classics, "An Adventure in Paradise III". alternativehawaii.com. Saturday, April 24, 2010 at 7:00PM and on Sunday, April 25, 2010 at 3:00PM. Tickets are $20 and $22 at the door. Children 12 and under are free. Performance at the King Kamehameha's Kona Beach Hotel ballroom.
